These New Earphones from Wisear are Something Else
Almost every person who owns a phone also owns an earphone. It's without a doubt that this is the case. Whether it's wired Earphones or wireless or a headset or any kind of earphones, you have to have one. There have been many releases of new types of Earphones every year, first, we started with wires. Then evolved to wireless (ex AirPods) and so on. However, the latest type of Earphones that dropped out might shock you, because they're wireless Earphones that work with your teeth. Yes, you read it right, and in this article, we're gonna show you how to use them and how they work.
The French company, Wiser, which specialized in consumer electronics, has developed new wireless earbuds through which the user can operate and control them without touching any buttons by pressing the teeth.
According to TechCrunch, the new technology allows the user to interact with music or AR players without having to click any buttons.
According to the company, when the wearer of the new headphones presses their teeth twice, they pause the audio track, and when they do that 3 times, they move on to the next music, without making noise, gesturing with their hand or performing any visible movement at all.
The French company has developed the new technology, by adding some electrodes and some electronic devices to the headphones, allowing the user to change the sound path, by closing the jaws.
Yassin Al-Sheikh, co-founder of Wisear, explained that “the neural interface of the artificial intelligence program records in the new technology the activity of the brain and face, using electrodes, where these signals are converted into controls that allow the user to take actions to control the operation of the headphones.”
Yassin Al-Sheikh explained that "the main controls in the advanced technology depend on the activity of the jaw, through sensors integrated with the headset, which can capture the movement of the jaw muscles and turn it into controls."
To make it commercially available, the company announced that it has raised, through a financing round, nearly $2.5 million with the aim of obtaining a license to allow the use of its new technology and subsequently settling it.
In my opinion, this is a really exciting idea and would be a good purchase for the right amount of money. What do you think of these Earphones? And would you buy them by any chance?
