4 Keyboard Shortcuts You Should Press When Your Computer Screen Freezes & Stop Responding

This is that on more than one occasion your computer screen has surely frozen, perhaps due to resource saturation, a program that works incorrectly, or even malware that may have been installed on the computer, and that is why we have many solutions, including a set of Unknown keyboard shortcuts.

If your computer freezes due to video drivers, we have a solution which is to press Win + Ctrl + Shift + B key combination at the same time.

Basically what the shortcut will do is reset the graphics drivers when the computer freezes, and if we do it correctly, our screen will turn completely black for a few seconds and a beep will be heard that restarts the video console.

Don't worry, because all the apps we opened will stay exactly where we left them, and we won't lose any saved work.

It's worth noting that this set of hidden keyboard shortcuts only works from Windows 8 onwards and works regardless of the type of video card you have on your computer.

If your computer is still frozen, try pressing Alt + Tab to switch to another program. If you see that it is not responding, try pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the task manager and remove programs that are not responding or consuming a lot of resources.

You can also use the classic Ctrl + Alt + Del combination to be able to access other system functions or even properly restart your computer.

But if with all the previous keyboard shortcuts you can't get out of the freeze on your computer, you will only be able to disconnect it from the network to reboot.

In this case, we recommend that you press and hold the power button for a few seconds until your computer finally turns off, and if it does not respond, you have only the last option: unplug the computer.
