Each year Yahoo Finance chooses the best company for that year. They do this choice based on Market performance and achievements in that particular year. And per usual the company has revealed its list for this year which holds a very surprising
pick for Worst Company this year.
Yahoo Finance also stated that it went over its fan's opinions about companies that bother them more than the others and it said:" 1,541 survey respondents have been outraged this year, from the Robinhood (HOOD) trade freeze last winter to electric truck startup Nikola still unable to do business together. But one company angered them more than others - Facebook. The survey results shed further light on why the company decided to rebrand this year to a new name: Meta Platforms."
And Yahoo Finance made it clear that Meta was Under the microscope of an antitrust and faced a wave of allegations from a whistleblower that claimed that Facebook was ignoring safety cases for growth. Some critics also said that Facebook didn't care for its speakers and didn't give them the needed attention to make their voice reach. Also, another group said that Facebook lets misleading information go around the app without doing things about it.
Moreover, Yahoo Finance stated that it's interesting especially about the previously called Facebook company that it has so many critics and haters. It garnered 50% more votes than the number two, Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, not for a single crime but for a series of grievances from groups of people they might have nothing else to agree on.
